Luken Beck became involved with this greenfield national park site at a very early stage working directly for the landowners​ to promote and secure the sites allocation into the Local Plan.

Following a successful Local Plan promotion, the site was allocated by the LPA for residential development of 220 - 240 dwellings.

We continued to support the landowners to agree a Design Brief with the LPA and have very recently secured Outline planning permission for the erection of 226 dwellings. Crucially for our client significant negotiation with the Council has ensured that the consent provides a deliverable and viable framework for development making it attractive and investable for major housebuilders ensuring its delivery.

The scheme will deliver a sustainable development with a focus on achieving Zero Carbon credentials, 50% affordable housing, high quality design, and impressive public open spaces. The negotiated framework will secure the necessary strategies for effective placemaking, and use of land to establish a sustainable new mixed community within the heart of the South Downs National Park.
