Southampton's only 5 Star Hotel & Spa... We were delighted to provide Harbour Hotels planning advice and guidance and to submit and negotiate a planning application resulting in a delegated approval and full planning permission for the hotel buildings.

In the case of the Southampton Harbour Hotel, we were proud to help the team deliver this truly iconic building on Southampton's waterfront offering 119 luxury rooms and 10 suites, restaurant, Spa and 6th floor rooftop bar. Consent was also achieved together with permission for an 11 storey residential apartment building (90 apartments) with a ground floor restaurant, and successfully opened up this further area of the waterfront for public enjoyment. The scheme regenerated the site from a surface level car park and marina storage area, and now plays an important commercial role in the city supporting tourism, fine dining, and commerce.

As retained Planning Consultants for the Harbour Hotel Group and other hotel operators, this is one of many sites on which we have successfully secured planning permissions across the south of England aiding them in boosting their hotel portfolio. Like the Southampton Harbour Hotel site many projects have also featured enabling residential development as well.
