Luken Beck were delighted to secure full planning permission for our client for a new 80 bedroom care home, and outline permission for 29 Assisted Living apartments (in Phase 3A, Shopwyke Lakes. Both will make a really valuable contribution and to deliver on goals for a vibrant, mixed community is established meeting a range of local needs.

We managed all pre-application engagement with the Local Planning Authority before submitting applications and our extensive negotiations with the Council established support for the uses and confirmed the assisted living apartments as C2 accommodation.

The development will enhance the offer of the wider residential masterplan site (for 500 new homes, open spaces and community facilities).
